Swim with the manatees on Saturday 5/15 for Troop 83 from Tallahassee, Florida along with their families and leaders including Amy Etter scout leader who arranged the entire event for the group.. The scouts camped locally, and the parents at the Days Inn Hotel . Crystal River Watersports, www.FloridaManateeTours.com provided the manatee tour. We divided the large group into 3 private boats. Everyone had a great time. The scouts earned their Manatee Areness Patch for Crystal River Watersports. Troop 83 and family had a great time over the weekend in Crystal River. Most importantly, the manatees were well-behaved
they did not disappoint. The tour guides knew just the right places where to take us to swim/snokel with the manatees and enjoy the beautiful crystal clear water. Thanks and many from our group said they hope to return next year.
