Spotted SeaTrout is one of the most abundant and popular fish on the Nature Coast. It's willingness to bite,and the ease of access to trout-infested waters from small skiffs and jon boats, great for the novice. Trout are fairly easy to locate and catchand require nospecial to land. During the summer "specks" are commonly found on the shallow coastal grass flats in depths of 2 to 12 feet.
They are great tasting and make a great beginning fish for anglers just starting to fish saltwater.
